Get ready for an exciting day of exploration by kayak through the breathtaking landscapes of Chilean Patagonia, starting from Puerto Natales and heading to Lago Grey in Torres del Paine via Route Y-290. After a 2-hour scenic drive, offering panoramic views and unique flora and fauna, you’ll arrive at the starting point of our adventure.
At this location, you’ll be provided with all the necessary kayaking equipment, and our guide will give you an instructional briefing to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
We’ll begin by paddling among icebergs on Lago Grey and Río Grey, offering you a unique experience alongside massive ice formations calving from Grey Glacier.
The stunning scenery will leave you speechless, with views of Lago Grey, the Paine Massif, the Western Mountain Range, and the famous Cuernos del Paine. After mastering the kayak and enjoying the lake’s tranquility, we’ll embark on a thrilling 3-hour descent down Río Grey, passing through a canyon, a rapid, and exciting twists and turns, with views of the Sierra del Toro.
At Puente Grey, we’ll take a break to enjoy a box lunch, recharging for the final stretch of the journey, paddling until we reach the confluence with the Serrano River, where the grey waters meet the clear waters from Lago del Toro. We’ll conclude the adventure at Pueblo Serrano before returning to Puerto Natales, ending this day filled with unforgettable experiences.
